Welcome
to our artsy and eclectic cottage by the sea! When you stay here you will be
300 yards from the ocean and 200 yards from the river. Enjoy the sunrise in the
morning and sunsets in the evening. This
house is a two bedroom 2.5 bath fun beach home. The house is approximately 1.5
hours from Disney World and other Orlando attractions. Daytona Beach and the
famous Speedway is a 15-20 minute drive, St. Augustine and New Smyrna Beach are
both about 40 minutes drive (in opposite directions!). You can walk to the
Lagerhead Restaurant at the top of the
road for nightly music, happy hour, lunch, dinner and weekend breakfasts. We
provide what you need for the beach - chairs, umbrellas, towels, coolers, skim
board, a learner surfboard and boogie boards. We also have cable TV, WIFI and a
Roku box if you have an account that works on a Roku box.
The
master bedroom and bath are up stairs and features a queen size bed and a TV.
Cooking
is a pleasure with Le Creuset cookware and a fully stocked kitchen. On the back
patio is a new combo propane and charcoal grill. We love and enjoy entertaining
on the screen enclosed breezeway. On a quiet evening you can even hear the
ocean. Also, there are numerous parks and water activities close by with SO
many things to do.
Some
things we do not allow are pets and smoking (and this includes all items that
blow smoke). We also do not allow wild parties or loud music. Our neighbors are
super friendly but we do look out for one another. The washer and dryer
are in the garage and so is my vehicle, sorry! However, you will certainly have
access as that is where the beach gear resides.
